Good afternoon, CM Families!
I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving and a nice long weekend. I am so thankful to be able to work in community with all of you and your beautiful children!
Advent begins this Friday, and we have a lot happening in CM and around the church during this festive season.
The Christmas Play will be on December 17, and this is the last call for you to sign your children up for parts. Please fill out this google form by Wednesday if your child wants to participate. I'll send out an email with the program, parts, and volunteer information on Thursday.
Friday, 12/1 is Family Fun Night, and we are kicking off the season by watching Elf in the youth loft. All ages are invited to come in PJs, enjoy pizza and popcorn, and watch the movie. Please RSVP to me by Thursday so I know how much pizza to buy.
This Sunday, 12/3 we are having all-ages Sunday School in the gym at 10:10. We will work on Christmas Play music and introduce Jesse Tree ornament making as a way to look at Advent through the Bible. In the afternoon at 5pm on 12/3 WPC is hosting the annual Advent Festival. Crafts, costumes, a petting zoo, carols, and a soup dinner are provided.
