REV. Irene Pak Lee, Pastor & Head of Staff

Pastor Irene grew up in Ogden Utah and graduated from Weber State in 2003 with a degree in Communications/Public Relations and a minor in Music. With a strong sense of call to ministry since the age of 14, she was accepted into the McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago graduating with a Master of Divinity in 2007. Pastor Irene spent a year at PCUSA headquarters in Louisville developing, training and implementing programs on racial justice and advocacy. She received her first call in 2008 as an Associate Pastor at Daesung Korean Presbyterian Church Sunnyvale CA. She served the Sunnyvale community for four years. Pastor Irene received her next call in 2012 as Associate Pastor at Stone Church Willow Glen San Jose CA. She served this congregation for 11 years. In 2023, Pastor Irene was selected to be a member of faculty for the CREDO program serving Presbyterian ministers
While serving Stone Church, she met and went on to marry her husband, Marion, in 2016. They are raising two beautiful children, Ezra and Eden. Irene’s life is an expression of joy. When she isn’t preaching or programming, you will find her soaking up time with her family, reading books, binge-watching shows and taking hip-hop dance lessons.
Dr. JERRI CRAWFORD, YOUTH DIRECTOR

Jerri’s father was in the Air Force and she attended 17 different schools before graduating high school. She lived in Las Vegas where she raised her two sons, taught Special Ed for seven years, and held several administrative positions within the Clark County school district before getting her doctorate in Educational Leadership from UNLV. She moved to Salt Lake City in 2013 where she served as an elementary school principal for the Jordan School District for 9 years. She has been a member of WPC for 9 years and also serves as a Deacon. When she is not shepherding the WPC Youth she enjoys gardening, quilting, reading, working on her house, and hanging out with her dogs, Stella & Betty.
DR. KEN UDY, DIRECTOR OF MUSIC

Ken is a native of Salt Lake City, earned his DMA in organ performance from Claremont Graduate University. He has served Wasatch as Director of Music and Organist since 1991. He delights us with Bach’s Tocatta and Fugue in D minor at Halloween. He was also organist at Congregation Kol Ami for 25 years and frequently appears as a guest organist at the Salt Lake Tabernacle and with the Utah Symphony. In 2000 Dr. Udy joined the faculty of the University of Utah. As head of the University Organ area, he teaches organ majors and all organ coursework. He also maintains a studio of private organ students. He and his wife have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
TODD WHEELER, WORSHIP BAND DIRECTOR

Todd was a high school “Whiz Kid,” composing, arranging, and student-directing a full-featured Easter Cantata. At the University of North Texas State, he studied music composition, piano/voice performance, and jazz studies. After college he formed a band which was signed to a record deal and warmed up for many pop and rock acts. While living in California, his compositions were on several TV shows, and he was a popular local performer. Todd now composes, teaches music lessons, and performs at corporate events, weddings, schools, and senior living centers. He has been the director and pianist for Wasatch’s worship band for 11 years. He works closely with Wasatch’s Director of Music to create classical and modern music for our combined service. Todd is the general manager of a hotel. He loves WPC for its people, the congregational diversity, and the emphasis on excellent worship music.
COURTNEY RAINES, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR

As a Salt Lake City native, Courtney’s faith journey began when she attended WPC as a child. For the past 8 years, she has held several different positions on the WPC staff, resulting in her current role as Business Administrator. She is a Certified Administrator, Silver Level ll through the PC(USA) administrators training program. She also brings administrative skills from past work experience in several industries. She has a love of the congregation and passion for serving. The constant changes in her work keep her engaged and enthusiastic. Her interest in doing her part to protect the environment has led her to create a non-profit organization to transform plastic grocery bags into something new. It is a growing success! She and her husband have 4 children, ages 11-18, and a menagerie of furry pets.
ALLAN MCINNIS, FACILITY MANAGER

Alan has 40 years experience in architecture, civil and mechanical engineering, and facilities management. Among his many careers, he ran his own residential architecture firm, taught sailing, contracted to analyze facilities management and engineering for military bases on the west coast, helped develop automated systems for routine assessment of roads (the model for Google mapping cars), and was facilities manager for Montage resorts in Park City. To simplify his life and decrease his commute, he took a job at Wasatch Presbyterian Church which evolved into the facilities manager position. He is married, lives near the church, and has two boys, ages 23 and 21.
ADAM GARDNER, SOUND TECHNICIAN/VIDEOGRAPHER

Adam Gardner grew up in Roosevelt, Utah. He studied art in Europe for two years, and then served a mission in Italy for the LDS church. After returning to Utah, he managed and co-owned a hair salon. In 1997, he moved to California, where he taught himself and became certified in Microsoft programs while managing a showroom in a design center. He was also a video and sound technician for various businesses. He moved back to Utah in 2012 and has been at Wasatch since 2014. Adam was baptized and joined the church in 2017. During the covid pandemic he filmed, edited, and distributed worship services online. This led to current worship streaming and broadcasts. He is an IT manager for a local hotel chain. He likes WPC because of its diverse congregation and merged traditional and modern worship structure.
MISA ANDERSON, PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR

Misa moved to Utah from New York one year ago. She has a master’s degree in early childhood education and special education. She spent 30 plus years working in the early childhood field both teaching and directing. She is the mother of 6 and the grandmother of 8.
KIAN MCINNIS, ASSISTANT CUSTODIAN
