Good morning, all! I hope this email finds you well and enjoying the Advent season so far.

First off, THANK YOU to all parents who helped out this past Saturday and Sunday to make our Christmas Play a success. I have heard no end of compliments about how well the readers did (go Club 56!!), how adorable everyone was, and how meaningful it was. Thank you for your help and support in making this happen!

Next Sunday is Christmas Eve, so we will have one morning worship service at 10am, and two evening services, 7pm and 11pm. The Children and Youth Choir will be singing the opening song at the 7pm service. We are singing Once in Royal David’s City, verses 1 and 2. Please encourage your child to practice this week in preparation for Sunday! For those singing, please arrive on Christmas Eve at 6:20 PM and have your child go to the choir room on the third floor. We will wear robes for the service and will need to make sure we have time to robe and rehearse once more. Thank you! From Sabrina and Marian, choir leaders.

There will be no Sunday School this Sunday, but there will be nursery care available at 10am and 7pm services.

If you are looking for a little service opportunity during Christmas break, WPC is making sandwiches for St. Vincent Soup Kitchen on 12/16 at 7pm in the gym. Bring the whole family and lend a hand!

If you are traveling and will miss the coming weeks, I wish you a Merry Christmas and peace and blessings in the New Year. Looking ahead, we have Family Fun - Game Night Edition on 1/5. We will be having a taco and salad bar for dinner, please bring a topping to share and note what you will bring by sending an RSVP to hlambert@wpcslc.org.

Sunday School resumes 1/7. On Sunday 1/21 we will have a family outing to Fairmont Aquatic Center from 4-6pm.

Merry Christmas!
