TOMORROW: WPC Little People Zoom Sunday School!
We are going to ramp up our online Sunday School now that we're moving into our winter phase of life. TOMORROW Sunday, November 8th at 9am, we'll be getting together with all the kids preschool and under. Our fabulous and beloved Nursery Coordinator, Eric Penn, will also be there to see and spend time with all of his friends! We plan to do just 20 minutes together to remain an appropriate level of screen time.
We will be talking about how God tells us, "Do not worry!" Please have your child bring one item that makes them feel better when they are worried or scared. We will be sharing with our friends.

NEXT SUNDAY: Club 56
Club 56 will meet next Sunday evening at 6pm. We'll have a combined Sunday School and fellowship time to connect with each other.
Save the date: Sunday, December 6th in the evening. We'll be creating some holiday treats together with WPC's very own Sugar Hero, Elizabeth LaBau. More info to come soon.
November: Gratitude and Social Media
During the month of November, we're hoping to distract us all from the doom and gloom on social media and to focus a little more on gratitude. Each day, we'll be posting a verse and question across the WPC Facebook, Twitter and the Youth Instagram accounts. We hope you'll take a moment each day to check out these posts, reflect and then respond.
FALL MISSIONS - Update
Thanks to the Klemesrud/Baker, Cole, Sandulli, Polikoff, Lewis, Leinberger, LaBau, Fleishman and Hyres families for participating in our Deliver a Pumpkin Smile program. We delivered 13 smiles to the porches and apartments of our fellow WPC disciples. Thanks for spreading some love!
Many of you have signed up for Fall Yard Work to reach out to others. We are working to find out who could most benefit from our help. If you know of someone in the congregation who could use our assistance, please let me know!
Advent in a Box Signup
In the spring, we created and sent home boxes to help with at home faith formation during Lent. Little did I know that we'd be spending the Lent season entirely at home!
Because of the great responses last spring, we're putting together an Advent in a Box for you this year. It will include creating a countdown to Christmas spiral, hands on activities and short devotions for the entire family. Please click on the image to sign up your family.
The box will focus theme of Emmanuel and how the entire Bible is the story of God wanting to be with us!
November 29 – Advent 1, God creates us for relationship but we lose God’s presence (Genesis 1 & 3)
December 6 – Advent 2, God restores presence to people of Israel and dwells in the tabernacle (Genesis 12, 15; Exodus 25 & 40)
December 13 – Advent 3, God is now with us through Jesus’ birth (Matthew 1 & John 1)
December 20 – Advent 4, God dwells in us through the gift of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19, 2 Corinthians 6:16, Acts 1:8, Revelation 21:3-4)
Scripture Reading for the Service
This fall we have added a second scripture reading to our service and asked our children to fill this leadership role. We need some more volunteers to fill out November. These services will be online and so you can record at home. Sign-Up to read scripture
