THIS WEEK:
I am planning on beginning my maternity leave this week, and do not plan to be at church Sunday. The talented and terrific Stasha Lewis will be stepping into my role as Sunday School leader, setting up the activities, leading Christmas Play Practice and coordinating Sunday School teachers. Please, offer to lend her a hand and give her huge thanks as she takes on these responsibilities! I will be accessible via email and phone while I am on leave, please don't hesitate to reach out if needed. I'll still be sending weekly emails, and can help with things remotely as needed. Thank you again for your support of our growing family!
CHRISTMAS PLAY:
Based on the google form you filled out, I have done my best to match children with Christmas Play parts and parents with volunteer roles. Below are two documents, one with the casting and program text, one with parent volunteer assignments. Please take a look and let me know if I have made any errors or assignments that do not work for you. Thank you!
Christmas Program Parent Volunteer Roles
THIS SUNDAY:
CHILDREN'S CHOIR
All kids are invited to join the WPC Children's Choir for a few weeks of practice, then a performance at the 7 p.m. service on Christmas Eve. Thank you to Sabrina Cole and Marian Florence for leading this effort! When Stasha rings the tambourine for Sunday School this week, choir participants will go to the choir loft with Sabrina and Marian to practice, then will join their Sunday School classes at 10:30.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
3-5 year olds will be in the nursery, lead by Eric.
k-6th graders will go to the gym for Sunday School during Advent. Stasha will lead everyone in Christmas Play practice. Then classes will move together throughout the gym completing stations that include games, crafts and discussions about the season of Advent.

ADVENT FESTIVAL

FAMILY FUN NIGHT
