Minute for Ministry

This is an environmental project Wasatch has chosen to support. It involves cutting up used plastic grocery bags into narrow strips that become balls of "plarn" that are crocheted into a bag, container, mats used for exercising or the homeless and many other items. One of the bags (like a purse) uses 100 plastic bags to create and keep them out of the landfill.
Wasatch is hosting a demonstration and hands on event to learn how to make these items. The stations will be for folding, cutting, winding and crocheting. You can participate at any station or all of them and take home your own volunteer kit if desired.

Coffee and refreshments will be served. There is no cost to attend.

We hope you will join us on June 17th for a hands on community event!
