PARENT OFFERING: PREVENTING GUN VIOLENCE DISCUSSION
Today! Thursday, March 22nd, 5:30 - 6:30PM in Fellowship Hall. Refreshments and childcare provided. While most gun owners store their firearms responsibly, nearly 1.7 million children in the U.S. live in homes with unsecured guns. Too often, when an unsupervised child gets his or her hands on a gun, tragedies result---including unintentional shootings, suicides, and homicides. With the goal of starting the conversation about responsible gun storage in our community, Emily Rainey will present on the Be SMART campaign which outlines simple steps that all adults -- whether they own guns or not -- can take to keep our children safer.

PALM SUNDAY PARTY
Sunday, March 25, 10:10-11am
Parents AND kids, join us during Sunday School hour in the gym. We'll have stations where parents and kids can learn about the events of Palm Sunday and Holy Week together, and parents have a chance to share their vision about Sunday School with each other and Hilary. There will be snacks, too!
APRIL OFFERINGS:
EASTER SUNDAY
Sunday, April 1, 10:10-11am
During Sunday School hour WPC Children's Ministry will host the annual Easter Event! Kids will meet in the Chapel at 10:10 for a short lesson, then they will enjoy an Egg Hunt, games, and snacks in the Fellowship Hall and on the front lawn. Bring your basket for the egg hunt!

Wednesday, April 18, 9-11:30am
For Moms of kids ages 0-5. We will meet the third Wednesday of each month to discuss parenting topics and enjoy fellowship together. Childcare will be provided. Join us for this inaugural meeting!
