Serve the Community

Opportunities for service to the greater community…

Last year Wasatch Presbyterian Church committed over $70,000 to mission efforts in Salt Lake City and worldwide, as well as participating in local hands-on mission work. If you would like to get involved in any of the following service opportunities, we’ll find a place for you to contribute your time and talents! Contact the church office at (801) 487-7576.

  • Youth Mentor Project- Make a difference in a young adult's life! Youth that leave the custody of Foster Care at 18 are truly on their own for the first time. They are desperately in need of support, direction, and kindness from responsible and caring adults. Whether you can volunteer some or quite frequently, attend the information meeting and find out more about this great way to get involved and make a difference in our community.
  • Sandwich-making for the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen. We get together at the church to make sandwiches at 7:00 pm on the last Tuesday before the last Wednesday of each month. The next night, on Wednesday at 5:15 pm, we serve our sandwiches at St. Vincent de Paul, 427 West 200 South. Jerry Richardson, Coordinator.
