Opportunities for service to the greater community…Help Serve the surrounding Wasatch Community

Last year Wasatch Presbyterian Church committed over $70,000 to mission efforts in Salt Lake City and worldwide, as well as participating in local hands-on mission work. Youth Mentor Project

Help make a difference in a young adult's life! Youth that leave the custody of Foster Care at 18 are truly on their own for the first time. They are desperately in need of support, direction, and kindness from responsible and caring adults. Sandwich-making for the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen

We get together at the church to make sandwiches at 7:00 pm on the last Tuesday before the last Wednesday of each month. The next night, on Wednesday at 5:15 pm, we serve our sandwiches at St. Vincent de Paul, 427 West 200 South. Jerry Richardson, Coordinator.

Family Promise Hospitality Network

Oquirrh Prison Ministry

. On the first Sunday of each month we conduct a worship service at the Oquirrh prison. We welcome your participation in this important ministry. Paul Hewitt, Coordinator.

Food collection

Help collect food for the Crossroads Urban Center happens at the church the first Sunday of each month.

Angel Tree Project

Provides Christmas gifts for children of prisoners. Contact the coordinator, Mary Jane Dow.

Alternative Gift Market

This wonderful market offers fair trade gifts to benefit needy peoples around the world. Sue Marquardt, Coordinator.

Easter Dinner

Wasatch serves Easter Dinner for the hungry and homeless at St. Vincent DePaul Center every Easter Sunday. Jerry Richardson, Coordinator.

Crossroads Urban Center

Crossroads is a multipurpose nonprofit, grassroots organization. They help to organize low income, disabled, and minority Utahns to be advocates on their own behalf in addressing essential issues affecting the quality of their lives.
