Presbyterian Men: Join the Men of Wasatch for a great breakfast, prayer and a lesson on Thurs., Sept. 2 at 7:14 am at IHOP on 4550 S. Highland Dr. We will have a surprise speaker.
Temporary Office Volunteers Needed!!! While we work to hire a new office assistant, we are looking for some volunteers to help answer the phones and greet visitors on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you have a few hours that you would like to help out, please contact Tri Revie at 801-487-7576 or trevie@wpcslc.org.
Do you know anyone looking for a part-time job? There is an opening for an office assistant in the WPC Church Office. For information about the job and how to apply, please visit our website at www.wpcslc.org.
FARMERS’ MARKET of Wasatch has begun. Every Sunday in Fellowship Hall you are invited to bring produce from your garden. Bob Atkinson will sell it for whatever amount people wish to donate and the money will all go to the Food Bank. It is a great opportunity for you to share your produce with those of us that do not have gardens, while you are also helping the hungry of SLC.
The Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) continues to search for WPC's next senior pastor. Although an ample number of pastor candidates has been provided by the PC(USA), there may be other pastors YOU know for whom WPC is a possible fit. If YOU know of such a pastor, or a pastor (or anyone else) willing to spread the word, please have them contact Philip Purdom, PNC Chair, at bondlover@aol.com.
Collections for Crossroads Urban Center: The bins will be left out so you can bring your donations at any time, not just the first Sunday of the month. The items of the month for September are snack foods, drinks and kitchen items.
